Yari Wall
The yari wall is a technique employed by yari ashigaru, enabling them to lock together and present their weapons in a single direction. Whilst the ability is active the unit moves and turns slower. Attacks made to the front of a yari wall are far less effective; cavalry charges made against them are practically useless. Attacks made to the rear or flanks of a unit are far more damaging whilst the yari wall is presented, so the ability is best used when several units are close together and protected by cavalry.
